Appraisals: The Persian Carpet staff includes four appraisers certified
by the Oriental Rug Retailers Association accreditation examination.
Repair and Restoration: Our staff includes an on-site repairman,
skilled in rug repair. We also offer full restoration services.
Cleaning and Mothproofing: Our on-site cleaning
employs the highly efficient Auserelian System. Carpets are thoroughly
dusted and
washed in cold water. We can remove urine and many other
stains. Our mothproofing process uses the most effective and long-term
treatment available.
Pads: We offer Vantage (polyester PVC) and Durahold (thick) pads
for hard wood or tile floors and Ruglock for wall-to-wall carpeting.
All sizes are custom cut to your specifications.
Advice: Our staff is always available for free consultation on

Shipping: We offer packing and shipping of oriental carpets worldwide.
Lectures: We gladly provide comprehensive, informative, and educational
lectures on oriental carpets. These have included: historical perspective;
design weaving and finishing; appraisal and evaluation; and origins
and evolution of design. These lectures are supplemented with examples
of carpets, textiles, and slides taken on trips to all of the weaving
areas of Asia over the last 40 years. Lectures can be arranged
for large or small groups.
